Servi Doryl runners at the Wings for Life World Run 2025!
A few weeks ago, a number of our employees took to their running shoes across borders to take part in a global event: the Wings for Life World Run. This is a solidarity race organized in over 68 countries to benefit research into spinal cord injuries. And this year, once again, the emotion was there!
The Wings for Life World Run: a unique race close to our hearts
The Wings for Life World Run is not a race like any other. It’s not measured in kilometers to reach or times to beat. The principle is simple: each runner sets off around the world at the same time. They run until a car catches up. Once they’re overtaken, the race is over. A concept that puts all runners on an equal footing, whatever their level. This race perfectly symbolizes the spirit of inclusion and solidarity.
In 2025, the event broke all records, with 210,719 participants mobilized in 68 countries, and over 8.6 million euros raised. All of this money is donated to scientific research. An incredible collective energy, united by a common goal: to run for those who can’t.
What was the program for this trip?
This trip was also a great opportunity to get together, exchange ideas and discover new things on an international scale. Here’s a look back at our program:
- Friday May 2: the day began with a visit to ALPMA Maschinenbau in Rott, our parent company and a key player in the cheese-making world. It was a moment rich in technical exchanges and inspiration for our professions. In the afternoon, our riders enjoyed some free time to explore Munich’s lively streets.
- Saturday May 3: off to the mountains, for a beautiful hike on the border between Germany and Austria. The hike was a great opportunity to strengthen ties between employees and enjoy the spectacular scenery.
- Sunday May 4: time for the long-awaited race. The runners felt an unforgettable collective force, surrounded by thousands of runners from all over the world. The first team covered 13 km, the second 6 km and the third 5 km! Every meter covered was a tribute to those who are not so lucky. Another step towards finding concrete solutions.

Acting collectively, together
At Servi Doryl, we design cheese moulds every day with precision, exacting standards and commitment. Participating in a human and inspiring race reminds us how essential it is to put this energy at the service of our cheesemakers.
A huge thank you to the entire Wings for Life Run team, to the committed volunteers, and to the thousands of participants mobilized around the world. It was a powerful moment, full of emotion, solidarity and collective energy. Many thanks also to our colleagues at ALPMA Maschinenbau for their hospitality and organization. Thanks also to our partners Gillot, Patrick Blanchet, Eurial, Kaserei Altenburger, Cloche d’Or, ALPMA France, ALPMA Servi and Maschinenbau, without whom this adventure would not have had the same flavor.
See you at the next race!
